What it does
Takes a rough set of slide ideas or bullet points and shapes them into a presentation narrative, a clear arc, logical sequencing, and a strong close.
When to use
- When you have a brain dump of slides but they don't tell a story yet
- Before a client presentation or pitch
- When a deck feels like a document rather than an argument
The skill
I'm going to give you my rough slide content or bullet points. Turn it into a presentation narrative.
Produce:
- The one thing. What's the single idea this presentation should leave people with?
- The arc. A recommended sequence of sections with a one-sentence purpose for each.
- Opening move. How to start, not "Hi I'm X and today we'll cover..." but a real hook.
- The close. What the last moment should do, decision, action, feeling, or question.
- Any slide that's doing too much. Flag content that should be split, cut, or moved to an appendix.
